Professional Strongman Hafthor Bjornsson is one of the greatest athletes in the world. The strongman is preparing for 2022 Thor’s Powerlifting scheduled for 3 December. Hafthor trains very hard to look as huge as possible. This creates a problem for his wife, Kelsey Henson, as she once revealed in an Instagram post.

The 34-year-old strongman is the only athlete to win three prestigious titles – Arnold Strongman Classic, Europe’s Strongest Man, and World’s Strongest Man in a year. Popularly called Thor, he is regarded, as “the strongest man to have ever lived” due to his impeccable strength and courage.

What did Hafthor Bjornsson’s wife say about him?

Kelsey and Hafthor met when the former was working as a part-time waitress in Alberta city. Hafthor went to the city for a strongman competition. Kelsey desired to click a picture with him as soon as she spotted him. Naturally, the two got along pretty well. Moreover, they tied the knot in 2018. The couple gave birth to a baby boy in September 2020.

Having been married for nearly five years, the couple has adjusted to many things. One of them is Hafthor’s incredibly colossal body. Kelsey is 5’3” whereas Hafthor is 6’8” which indicates a huge height difference for the couple. In an Instagram post from September 2018, Kelsey shared a picture with Hafthor and captioned it;

Kelsey Henson is a Health & Safety Administrator and the National Construction Safety Officer. The 32-year-old was born in Alberta City, Canada. She is also a fitness trainer at the gym owned by her husband. Kelsey frequently shares her fitness drills with her fans. Moreover, through her social media presence, she promotes a healthy lifestyle.

Hafthor Bjornsson left his boxing career in 2020

During 2020’s Deadlift World Record Hafthor Bjornsson challenged his rival Eddie Hall to a boxing match. He had no boxing experience previously. The strongman trained from scratch to defeat Eddie. He went to extreme levels training five hours a day to achieve a boxer’s physique and fitness.

After getting trained, Hafthor fought several prolific boxers like Steven Ward, Simon Vallily, Devon Larratt, etc. During this time, Eddie Hall was injured due to a bicep tear while training. He was quick to withdraw his name from the fight. Eventually, the two strongmen fought in 2022. Hafthor defeated Eddie winning the tagline The Heaviest Boxing Match in History.
