Jay Cutler’s approach towards Cardio

In his Instagram story, Cutler explained his routine of including cardio in his daily workout routine. The legendary bodybuilder informed me that he does heavy fast cardio in the morning time. Cutler makes sure he has every piece of equipment at his home to perform that. He said, “I have everything at home, whether it’s a bike, treadmill, step mill, elliptical, I do it all”. 

Cutler emphasized the fact that cardio plays an important role when it comes to leaning down. “Remember cardio is necessary when you are trying to lean down and increase metabolism”. The four-time Olympian also revealed his preferred time slot for cardio. Cutler said that he prefers to keep the room for cardio either at the beginning of his day or after he does weight training.

The legendary bodybuilder focuses to prevent the burning of glycogen weight training. However, he adds that cardio should never be taken lightly but too much emphasis can result in a lack of weight training. “Remember that cardio is necessary but training is the most important thing,” he said in his Instagram story
