The primary reason for anticipating the upcoming event is that it will offer opportunities for selection into the teams that will compete in the upcoming event. Among those stands the berth for the 2024 USA 3×3 Men’s National team that will compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Jimmer Fredette, with gold medals at the 2023 Pan American Games and 2022 FIBA 3 by 3 Men’s Americup, and Trey Bardsley, with a gold medal at FIBA 3 by 3 Men’s AmeriCup, are the top contenders on the list.
