The post revealed that Noah Lyles will open his 2024 season on 4th February 2024 at the New Balance Grand Prix. Interestingly, this is the same event with which the 26-year-old had kickstarted his 2023 campaign. Moreover, he also achieved a lifetime best of 6.51 seconds in the 60m dash at the Grand Prix.

The 6x World Champion will be making his sixth appearance in the event and look for a solid start. An indoor event after a hiatus since September would make the perfect season starter for Noah Lyles. Especially when the 2023 Athlete of the Year has already declared that he will bag a threepeat at the Paris Olympics as well.

Speaking to Men’s Health in an interview, Noah Lyles said, “We’re going after everything… We’re going after the triple. Going after the world record, too. I know I can do this.” Thus, Lyles has already planned on making Paris a repeat telecast of Budapest. But, while the iconic sprinter has both the capability and determination, he will have to work extra hard for the Olympics.

While Noah Lyles experienced a major growth spurt in 2023, he wasn’t the only one who underwent a metamorphosis. He worked as a catalyst for the growth of many of his fellow competitors. This list includes the young guns Erriyon Knighton and Lestile Tebogo, as well as veterans like Christian Coleman and Zharnel Hughes.
