After Odell Beckham Jr., 22-year-old track star Sha’Carri Richardson recently got into a verbal argument with a flight attendant during her vacation. The incident occurred when Richardson was recording a video of herself while the crew was preparing for the flight to take off. Richardson alleges that one of the crew members “threatened” her after which she took a stand for herself. The argument between Richardson and the crew members was caught on camera and later posted on her Instagram profile.
Soon after the video was shared, people came out in support of the young track star. While many called out the bystanders for not helping out the athlete, some explained the legalities of the situation to Richardson. Among the people who made their way to the comments section was NFL player, Odell Beckham Jr.

NFL free agent reacts to Sha’Carri Richardson incident
On 21st January 2023, American track athlete Sha’Carri Richardson posted a video on her Instagram capturing a verbal argument between Richardson and the crew members of American Airlines. Post the argument, Richardson was kicked off the flight. This prompted the young athlete to make the video public and ask for suggestions if she should press charges. Odell Beckham Jr., who encountered a similar situation during the 2022 NFL season, commented on the incident.

Odell, who was kicked off from a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, found the incident “funny.” He commented, “TELLL ME U GIT KICKED OFFF THE AMERICAN FLIGHT FOR NO REASON ????.” Furthermore, he sarcastically added, “WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT ???????????. BUTTT IM THE ASSSSHOLE”

Odell’s response to the present situation makes one think about what went down in his case.

Odell Beckham Jr. Kicked off from Flight 1228
In November 2022, NFL player Odell Beckham Jr was kicked off from a flight from Miami to Los Angeles after the crew raised concerns about his health. When a flight attendant went to ask Beckham Jr. to fasten his seat belt, he was found unconscious on his seat. Thinking the player might just be asleep, the attendant tried to wake him up, but the player didn’t budge.

The attendant then asked him to step down from the flight for a check-up, when he finally woke up. However, the player refused to comply. This prompted to staff to seek help from the officers who then declared Odell to be fine. The decision to allow Beckham Jr to take the flight, or not, was left with the flight crew.

Ultimately, when the player refused to get off the plane, the rest of the passengers were asked to de-board. Beckham Jr. was then escorted out of the plane by the officers. The crew might just have been concerned about his safety. However, the incident made Odell Beckham Jr. hold a grudge against American Airlines.
