Decorated Olympian, Simone Biles, was recently spotted with her fiance in Houston. In a recent Instagram post, the two can be seen supporting the renowned MLB team, Houston Astros, as they donned their signature orange and white. The athlete has been engaged to Jonathan Owens for a while now, and they’re expected to walk the aisle soon.

The NFL player recorded 10 tackles out of which 9 were solo, during his previous game against the Raiders. However, Owens’ team lost the game by the margin of 38-20.

The interesting journey of Simone Biles and her fiance

Biles and Owens met in March 2020, over an app and decided to get engaged after spending a considerable amount of time.

When asked by the press once about how the couple met, she stated, “I saw him and I was like, ‘Oh, he’s pretty cute,’ so I said hi … and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later.”

The record holder for the most number of Olympic medals won by a gymnast in American history, Simone Biles does not shies away from showing support for her husband’s sport.

Aged 27, having played for his college, Missouri Western, Jonathan Owens comes with a ton of experience in his bag. The athlete once spoke about his relationship saying, “The coolest thing for me is that I get to witness someone who is literally at the pinnacle of their sport, it’s motivating just to see that and the impact that she has on people.” He currently plays as a safety for the Houston Texans.

Having won the world series back in 2017, the Houston Astros are no team to be taken lightly. Although there was a slight slump in their performance in their last game. After a brutal loss to the Phillies on Friday night, the Astros now trail by 1-0.

Simone Biles, along with her fiance, have been known for being avid followers of the sport. The two were seen in Houston earlier this week, just before the start of Game 1, supporting their favorite MLB team.
