The legendary Lindsey Vonn is no stranger to breaking new records. With 3 Olympic medals and 4 overall World cup championships, Vonn retired from the sport in 2019. But, as they say, you can’t take the passion out of an athlete. And, here she is. After four years of describing herself as “broken beyond repair”, the American once again made many heads turn her way by inscribing her name on the golden pages of history as she became the first person to ski the world’s toughest piste, the Streif. To add the cherry on the cake, the Olympian pulled off this incredible skiing spree in the darkness of dusk.

Two days ago, the 38-year-old fulfilled her lifetime dream by roaring into the most notorious downhill course in the world. Vonn took to her Instagram handle to share her incredible performance with her fans. Astounded by Vonn’s marvelous performance, Deadpool actor, Ryan Reynolds got a “panic attack“.

In her latest Instagram post, Lindsey Vonn shared a video of herself skiing down the Kitzbuhel slope. As per the video, the 38-year-old was seen pushing herself out of the gate and entering in Mousetrap of the Streif. Captioning the reel, she asked her fans “how fast did I ski at night? How far did I go off the jumps?”. Expressing his dread on Vonn’s video, the Canadian-American actor wrote, “this gave me a panic attack“.

Conceding with the actor’s reaction, the American replied, “hahah me too“. Now obviously, the video gave a great adrenaline rush to the skiing community. But, one cannot measure the moxie with which the 38-year-old drove off the insanely steep slope. However, in the words of Lindsey Vonn, one can only “watch and see!” the commendable masterpiece that Vonn created.

Clearly, the skier has set the bar very high by conquering the most challenging skiing feat in the world. Interestingly, Vonn dedicated her momentous triumph to her mother and gave an inspiring message to everyone “who has a dream”.

After acing the infamous ski piste of Austria, the champion wrote, “I DID IT!!! I skied the most difficult downhill in the world”. Furthermore, she expressed her heartfelt tribute to her mother by writing, “Dedicated to my mom…..she would have been proud”. Nevertheless, she further inspired her fans by penning an encouraging message, “To anyone who has a dream, never stop believing in yourself”.

With her courageous act, Vonn indeed left her fans in awe. All in all, the 38-year-old is not only an outstanding athlete but also a staunch champion, who never shies away to take up a challenge.
