In the early days of August 2023, Mikaela Shiffrin, the alpine queen confirmed her training for the World Cup in October. First, the skiing sensation was captured by a fan when she was training in Mammoth Mountain. However, no confirmations were made by her at the time. Later, she confirmed the location in a social media post disclosing information about her training in the camp of California’s mountain for the upcoming World Cup.

The athlete also split up with her former coach Mike Day in February 2023. And a few months after that, she announced her new coach, Karin Harjo. Shiffrin will be competing in the Giant Slalom, and the athlete has dropped many details about the same. Recently, the alpine skiing legend gave another hint about the World Cup in a social media post that signifies her training apparatus.

Mikaela Shiffrin alludes to the upcoming World Cup with her bucket list

The 88-time World Cup-winning alpine skier often updates her fans about her vacation. She tried golf, windsurfing, and many more adventures on her different trips when she was on break. But this time is quite different because Mikaela Shiffrin has posted pictures on Instagram Threads of a vast list that includes things like, Hiking and snow sneakers, Training | lifting shoes, Workout bands, Strobe Glasses, Light training gloves, etc. which indicate her training for the upcoming championships.

In the caption she wrote, “It’s that time of year again…P.S. also 10/10 recommend laminated (erasable) lists for packing for trips.” On the post, a fan even commented about the World Cup by saying, “I can’t believe Soelden is less then 10 weeks from now.” To which the athlete replied, “Hadn’t thought of it that way.” Certainly, the 2023/2024 Season of Giant Slalom in Solden is almost here.

The upcoming season of Giant Slalom

Mikaela Shiffrin will be performing in the Giant Slalom which will be conducted in Solden. The competition will begin on 29th October and will be continued till March next year. After breaking the record of World Cup titles, Mikaela Shiffrin is headed to secure one more championship title. The championship will organize 89 races for stellar skiers from across the world including the legend, Shiffrin. The alpine star has buckled up with her coach Karin Harjo and her amazing team to secure another title.
