Taylor Swift and Lionel Messi Get Hearty Congratulations From Alpine Ski Legend as They Lift TIME Magazine Award 2023

As the 2023 TIME Awards ceremony commenced on 12th December, A Year in Time gala in New York was attended by prominent names across various fields, from entertainment to sports. Everyone who marked their presence at the event expressed their heartiest congratulations to the award recipients. Following suit, the alpine skiing queen,  Lindsey Vonn also took a moment to acknowledge the honorees.

As alpine skiing legend took to her social media handle to share her stills from the award ceremony, she made sure to mention the personalities who took the spotlight that night. Interestingly, Vonn congratulated Time’s Person of the Year 2023 – Taylor Swift, and Time’s Athlete of the Year- Lionel Messi.

Lindsey Vonn Pens a Congratulatory Note For Award-Winners

Lindsey Vonn made many heads turn her way when she graced her presence at A Year in Time Gala while donning a black long-sleeve dress with a backless design.

However, she continues to take all the brownie points through her vogue, as she posted a series of highlights from the event recently on her IG handle, @lindseyvonn.

Nonetheless, acknowledging the honorees of the event, she penned, ““Quick trip to NYC to celebrate the @time Person of the Year. Congratulations to all of the innovators and dreamers who are changing the world: @taylorswift (person of the year),@sama (CEO of the year) and @leomessi (athlete of the year.) I would nominate @jessicasibley as CEO of the year as well! Was also great to see some dear friends, who should not to be underestimated for their impact either! Bravo”

Vonn rose to the occasion to congratulate Taylor Swift for being profiled as the TIME Person of the Year 2023 for her musical excellence. She also took the opportunity to congratulate Lionel Messi, who has been named TIME Athlete of the Year for 2023 for his incredible impact on soccer in the United States. Interestingly, Vonn also congratulated Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, as he has been named as TIME CEO of the Year 2023.

Nonetheless, Vonn took the spotlight during the event with her endearing presence, as she not only carried a sleek look but also donned the black Victoria Beckham dress with an absolute finesse.

Wearing a black-colored high-neck dress with long sleeves, and with figure-hugging backless design, the Olympian skier, Lindsey Vonn looked breathtaking. She paired it with pumps for a monochromatic look. She had her blonde locks beautifully inclined towards one side, with minimal accessories to go with the look.

She exuded glamour in the black Victoria Beckham gown. Wearing a classic gown with striking red lipstick, nothing could go wrong with it. She looked exuberant and took to her Instagram posting pictures with other attendees of the TIME Magazine’s event. More so, she shared the glimpses of behind the scene avenues of the gala, including event’s menu card, and a panoramic view of podium, where Sam Altaman can be seen taking to the host.
