Lindsey Vonn owes her first job to her siblings

Celebrity Lemonade Stand features guests and discusses their journeys from their first job, something as simple as owning a lemonade stand to their latest ventures. Curiously, the host asked what Vonn’s first job was. She replied, “I think babysitting would be my first job.” Lindsey continued. She used to babysit kids in her neighborhood.

Although her friends did better jobs, she said she chose it because she had a good experience with “diaper changing and all those things.” Also, she called it “some pretty good cash built up.” Connecting her first experience to the present scenario, the host asked whether there was anything she learned as a babysitter that she was still using as an entrepreneur.

Lindsey denied it and said she learned a lot from skiing. To the question on what was her motivation to be the best, whether it was the extra cash, or something else, she replied, “my motivation was always to go fast.” She also shared that, at a very young age, her dad helped her get into a business mindset and be more than an athlete.

Vonn answers questions from kidprenuers

One of the interview segments featured questions from a few youngsters allowing them to ask for her advice. 11-year-old Madison asked, “Who do you get money advise from?” With little thought, Lindsey replied, “DJ[Dwayne Johnson].” She explained he started with seven bucks in his pocket and created an empire.

13-year-old Colin asked, “Are you going to make kid goggles soon?” Calling it a great question, she replied, “That’s definitely something we are thinking about.” And continued, not much work has been put into it. She concluded by saying the question gave her some inspiration and answered, “Yes.”
