Lindsey Vonn, the legendary alpine skier, is a name that has burgeoned as a brand of love, laughter, and empathy. The skiing icon turned 38 on October 18th, and birthday wishes pour in from the nook and corner of the world. Her Instagram stories are loaded with birthday messages. Also, she shared a picture of a statement-making present she received.

Making a vibrant addition to her existing collection, from Italian brand, Gucci, whose brand value is approximately $18 billion, is the $2490 worth of Ophidia medium GG top handle bag.  The skier-turned-businesswoman and author took to Instagram to share the picture with the caption “Grazie Marco” followed by a red heart emoticon.

An Instagram post includes a magnificent picture of Lindsey with crystal globe awards with the caption, “Happy birthday Queen!” Furthermore, @Olympicmuseum’s Instagram handles shared a video of the skiing legend’s moments from Vancouver 2010 and captioned it, “How to capture gold at the Olympics: a @lindseyvonn masterclass followed by a gold medal emoticon.”

Vonn is an inspiration

Birthdays are not just about wishes. It is also an opportunity to be grateful. One of the wishes includes a heart-warming message about how Lindsey has made an impact on her life. The message reads, “Lindsey, you make me want to push harder, work harder and work smarter in and out of the gym.”

Recounting an injury she suffered and going through rehab, she said, “I’d always say, ‘if Lindsey Vonn can so can I’”. She also thanked Lindsey for showing that no matter how far out an injury can take, one can always get up and keep going. She concluded by stating, “You’re the best.” Undeniably, Lindsey’s journey through her career in sports, battle with depression, and dealing with personal challenges have made her the person the world admires.
