Now forecasts predict escalating winds throughout the day, as stated by the International Ski Federation (FIS), so race won’t be continued. What is the biggest good part of it?

It is the “non-countancy” of results. Marco Schwarz of Austria emerged with the fastest first run, leading Swiss skier Marco Odermatt, the reigning World Cup overall champion, by 29 hundredths. However, the results were nullified. So, it is for Mikaela Shiffrin’s boyfriend, who got the 10th position.

And FIS has yet to disclose plans for a potential makeup race, leaving uncertainty about when or where it might be scheduled. The cancellation disrupted the anticipated competition, with top-ranked skiers completing their first run before the event’s termination.

Why the race has been canceled abruptly?
