“Not a Lot of Brown Dudes at Ski Races”: Tiger Woods Didn’t Trust the Disguise He Chose to Surprise Ex-Girlfriend Lindsey Vonn at Her Downhill Race in 2015

Even after several years of the breakup, Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods’ relationship is one of the most talked about athlete relationships. Nowadays, anything involving the golfer quickly becomes news. His admirers are eager to learn as much as they can about him and Vonn’s relationship. Once, when he went to surprise his ex-girlfriend Lindsey, he faced big trouble.

In 2015, Vonn had a downhill race competition, where Wood reached out to surprise her. But things turned out badly for him, as he suffered an injury.

Talking to ESPN, Wood revealed how a TV cameraman carrying his equipment on his shoulder unexpectedly stood up and turned around. Which instantly jabbed him in the jaw and broke his teeth while causing cracks in others. He addressed, “I was looking down, and all the camera guys are below me on their knees or moving all around, trying to get a picture because she’s hugging people, saying congratulations to the other racers as they are coming down. Some already finished, some are there already in the changing area.”

Further, Tiger added, “I still had my mask on trying to blend in. There are not a lot of brown dudes at ski races. I’m trying to keep this thing on so the blood is not all over the place. Luckily, he hit the one with a root canal. He chipped that one and cracked the other.”

Revealing his experience on the flight, he said, “The flight home was a joke. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t drink until he fixed them. Until he put the temporaries on, I couldn’t have anything touch it. Even breathing hurt. Any kind of air rushed over the nerve of the tooth that was still alive that was cracked.” Meanwhile, he focused on Lindsey, who broke the record for most World Cup victories after suffering a serious knee injury in December 2013.

Throughout the romance and split, Vonn experienced several problems, including her injuries. She felt quite uncomfortable and anxious because of the extensive media coverage. The media covered her whole dating history, causing her to be more worried about her personal life. Everyone’s opinion on her relationship made her more conscious and left her feeling that her life was exposed.

However, even after breaking up, they never criticized each other. Even though the relationship ended, both upheld the dignity of the prior union.
