Home/Olympics

Victories and triumphs are no strangers to skiing legend Lindsey Vonn. A warrior at heart with a child-like smile on her face, the three-time Olympic medalist is a good friend to all. Vonn retired from mainstream athletics in 2019 but her passion for sports is still full of life. Despite a busy schedule, the skier turned businesswoman doesn’t miss a chance to witness live matches, meet people and make memories.

At the SoFi Stadium last Sunday, the Cowboys clashed against the Rams. Lindsey Vonn, along with her sister appeared at the game. Earvin Magic Johnson, honored as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History was also at the match. A brief meeting between the two created a first-time experience for Vonn as posted on her Instagram handle.

Lifting trophies and awards are just Lindsey’s things. With 82 World Cup wins and 20 Crystal Globes, it’s undeniable that holding a trophy and flashing it high in pride is a picture that best defines Lindsey. Well, there’s an exception.

During the football match last Sunday, Lindsey got a chance to hold the Vince Lombardi Trophy, which is awarded to the winner of the Super Bowl every year. Lindsey was excited to hold the Lombardi as the legend Magic Johnson handed it to her. “I’ve had few trophies in my day but never the Lombardi… my only thought was, “don’t drop it!” she captioned her Instagram post.

Also, regarding meeting the great Magic Johnson, she stated, “Was a pleasure to meet the great Magic Johnson to top off a perfect football Sunday in LA with my sister.”
