However, a handle called Paulo Moura wrote in reply to her post impugning the legend statement, “Strange, an American happy with the defeat of another American.” To which the legend shutting down the moral police replied, “Can I just be happy my friend won a tournament? Jeez Louise, smh”. Lindsey Vonn has been a fan of the 22-year-old WTA champion for a while and has never failed to show her admiration for the star. This isn’t the first time she has expressed her awe and respect for the Tennis number one.

Back in September, after the closely contested match at the US Open, Swiatek was defeated by the formidable Jelena Ostapenko. After a 1 hour, 48-minute game, Iga Swiatek was defeated 3-6, 6-3, 6-1.
