Recently, famous athletes like Simone Biles and Olivia Dunne have also jumped on the Barbie bandwagon, delighting their fans by sharing a new Instagram story. But Lindsey Vonn has outdone them all with her new looks in her latest social media uploads.

Lindsey Vonn posted a slew of photos on her Instagram account yesterday, each in a different pink ensemble. She captioned the post, “I’m here for the pink Barbie trend! Which pink do u like best 1-6?.” In the first picture, she posed for the camera in a Gucci feathers dress, while in the second one, she chose an old Hollywood glam look in a tight floor-length dress. In the third and fourth pictures, she sets the scene with a sporty twist, donning a pink swimsuit and a pink tracksuit. Lindsey was back in her element for the fifth shot, wearing a pink ski jacket. The last picture showed her in the backdrop of numerous pink roses, wearing a light pink short dress.

Lindsey found another way of engaging with her fans on social media using the Barbie trend. On her Instagram story, she posted two pictures of herself side-by-side. Lindsey showed herself in two contrasting looks in the photos. She captioned the picture, “Summer or Winter?”, asking the fans to choose between the two looks. In the first picture, she was dressed in a vibrant pink swimsuit, radiating confidence and playfulness. Lindsey also had a pair of ski goggles on her forehead, which seemed to complete the look. She called this her “Miami Beach Barbie”. In the second picture, Lindsey posed on a snowy mountain in a pink jacket. She was carrying a snowboard and had a faraway determined look. This was her “Ski Barbie” ensemble. This update comes days after Simone Biles and Olivia Dunne joined the Barbie hype.

Recently Simone Biles posted a thread that said, “I was never really a barbie girl, always a bratz girl.” While we won’t get to enjoy Biles in her pink, girly avatar anytime soon, as revealed by her choice of the “bratz” dolls, she followed this with a warning for all, “when you see me at the theater with my barbie shirt, mind your business”. She is clearly looking forward to Greta Gerwig’s cinematic rendition of the popular doll and doesn’t want to be disturbed.
