It was recently announced that the Garmisch Ski event stands cancelled due to increasing warm temperatures and poor snow conditions. Hearing about this unfortunate news, Lindsey Vonn expressed her worrying concern.

Despite being mindful of the safety reasons behind the event’s cancellation, Lindsey became nostalgic. She took to her Instagram to express how much she has always loved skiing in the Garmisch mountains and the event getting cancelled hugely makes her gloomy.
Lindsey remembers her win in both her last races and recalled how the Garmisch ski event will always stay close to her heart. She also recalls how life changes in a blink of an eye, relating to her injuries and subsequently leaving her most-loved sport – skiing.

What’s More to Alpine Skiis This Year
The Garmisch Alpine cancelled event hasn’t despaired droves and dozens. It’s so because there is sure shot a number of skiing events scheduled for the month of February 2024. There is the Soldeu event on February 10 and 11, followed by Crans Montana starting from 14 February and endling on the 18, to Val di Fassa and Kvitfjell in the end of February this year.
So, alpine skiing lovers aren’t losing their sleep over the cancelled event. In the depths of despair, it’s huzzah to the fandom and sportspersons of the skiing industry.
