Mikaela Shiffrin has always made waves with her performances on the slopes. She was even titled “once in a millennium athlete” by Olympic champion Bode Miller. After lifting her 88th slalom win in March 2023, the 28-year-old American prodigy earned the largest-ever prize money earned by a skier during a season. Following this, she asserted her plans and stated, “My strategy for the money I’ve earned is to save and invest”. The alpine skiing legend clarified that she is following the principles of billionaire business tycoon Warren Buffett. Buffet has served as the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, and in his open letter to the shareholders in the company, he emphasized that there is no “perfect time to invest”.

This advice has resonated with Mikaela Shiffrin, who has now begun investing money in diversified portfolios. The skiing champion has also decided to sell off her condo in Colorado to increase her investment capital.

Interestingly, the video was uploaded by Ben Babbitt, who is the Team lead with the Ivy House Group, which is a company run by real estate professionals. In the caption, he penned, “Calling all Broker Friends! Here’s your chance to get a preview of this Beautiful Spire Condo, owned by Mikaela Shiffrin!”

More so, the Ivy House helps homeowners like Shiffrin sell off their homes without much struggle. The video showed Mikaela Shiffrin’s ski boards mounted on the wall with imprints of her achievements in the sport. Shiffrin has wonderful memories in this home but is ready to move on to a new chapter in her life.
