Following in her footsteps is her loved one, Aleksander Kilde. Despite facing an unfortunate end in Bormio, Italy, during the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup 2023/24, the Norwegian skier is looking for positives.

Norwegian Kilde raced down the bumpy and ‘icy’ slopes at the Men’s Downhill World Cup race in Italy. He faced an unfortunate incident. A stone struck his ski, and he had to quit his run immediately to prevent further damage. This incident has now become a valuable lesson for the Norwegian skier. “Today’s lesson: Try to avoid rocks when skiing Bormio (facial expression agrees)’, he penned in the latest Instagram story. A photo of Kilde, who looked in discomfort racing down the track, accompanied this lesson.

Learning from the setbacks is the trait of champions, and a champion Aleksander Kilde indubitably is. As he wove the lesson from his farrago, he was quick to celebrate the humongous victory of his girlfriend Mikaela Shiffrin as well. Sharing her smiling photo, he wrote, Aaand find you a girl who makes up your day. #queen”. A queen she is after closing down the gap towards the historical mark.
