In 2019, the Olympic gold medalist earned the Spirit of the Sport Award on the same stage she’ll be standing today. Achieving it right after ending her storied skiing career, she stood on stage with the trophy in hand, shedding tears. Said, “It’s really weird to be retired but you know, I’m so honored to be in this room tonight. I’ve been inspired by so many of you over the course..”

A humble person by heart, Vonn has always acknowledged the efforts of people around her success. Now a retiree, the World champ runs The Lindsey Vonn Foundation. Through that, she helps the unprivileged youngsters look forward to a better future.
