While Mikaela Shiffrin is undoubtedly the GOAT alpine skier, Bode Miller is regarded as one of the most successful male American alpine skiers. An Olympic and a World Champion, Miller’s daughter, would surely be inspired by him. But as Shiffrin continues to add victories to her name, she has left a huge mark on the 6-year-old. “Inspired by @mikaelashiffrin 95th World Cup title, I couldn’t wait to get Scarlett on the slopes for her first day! Grateful she has amazing female role models in the world of skiing“, Miller wrote in an Instagram update.
Shiffrin was left feeling proud and emotional hearing about this. Reposting his post on her story, she cheered for Miller’s daughter, writing, “Go scarlet“. While Mikaela Shiffrin is inspiring a whole generation, inspiring the daughter of an Olympic champion is a testament to her alpine skiing greatness.
