Alpine ski racer Bode Miller, along with other contestants, confront the unforgiving challenges of winter warfare training in the New Zealand mountains. The rugged terrain and frigid temperatures will test their endurance to the limit, with tasks that are set to feel as grueling as torture.

Among the challenges, participants will undertake the ice breaker drill, immersing themselves in a frozen lake, causing their body temperatures to drop perilously close to hypothermic levels, the network said. Additionally, they will navigate the hazardous crossing of a treacherous ravine on a snow-covered mountain peak standing at 4700 feet. Furthermore, they will tackle the task of executing an “emergency escape out of a helicopter submerged deep in icy waters.”

While Miller is preparing for the show, he is also facing personal challenges. Last week, the 45-year-old revealed that three of his children were hospitalized due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Describing the incident as a “terrifying experience,” Miller told his fans that his family’s condition has improved significantly.
