Her love for horses began when she was just six and later molded it into a career path. Jennifer’s accomplishments in the field of equestrian are noteworthy with one of her greatest milestones being the US Open Hollow Creek Fram Under 25 Grand Prix win. As a young equestrian, it mimicked the world championships that consequently helped her calm her nerves for the future.
In a throwback interview with Equestrian Living from 2019, her candid self spoke about the hard work that underwent to become an accomplished equestrian. She discusses her personal bests as a rider and her connection with the horse while riding that paved the way for a successful equestrian career.

Jennifer was modest in answering what was considered to be her best competition till then. “I think my biggest personal best results-wise would be at the U25 championship at the National Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky, in 2017,” she said mentioning the class to be a great format, per Equestrian Living. “It is a great way to see the hard work pay off,” she said reminiscing about her splendid win.
The ace equestrian had claimed the top prize of a massive $100,000 pot in the event along with her horse Alex, as per JumperNation. The equestrian and horse duo managed to finish over three classes and four rounds of jumping. After the big win, she spoke, “The U25 classes have added a lot of depth to my learning. It’s an incredible format.”
Connection with horse is crucial

While speaking about connection with her horse “From a mental perspective, I suppose that some of my greatest rounds have been the ones where I felt genuinely connected to my horses and really in the moment,” Jenn opened up by expressing her perspective about her game.
According to her, many sports psychologists speak about the idea of flow. It is a moment where the rider is completely present with the animal and the act. Sharing her experience, Jennifer says that she had such an incredible connection with her horse, last fall when the duo are working towards a common goal. She considers such rounds as a personal big win.
