“Thank You for Putting Up With My Boyfriend”: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Gets Special Appreciation From Lindsey Vonn for Being Cooperative With Her Ex-Boyfriend

Olympic medalist Lindsey Vonn is known to be an impeccable alpine ski racer. From time to time, she has showcased her curiosity for trying out new things. In addition, her personality attracts the best things for her. After her retirement, she revealed that her source of motivation in the gym is Dwayne Johnson.

However, there was a time when she thanked him with an Instagram post filled with gratitude. Meanwhile, she also mentioned how not only her but also her ex-boyfriend is his biggest fan.

Good friends like Dwayne can encourage anyone to strive and rise for more. Dwayne, also known as “The Rock,” and Lindsey share a strong bond. In several interviews, she has stated that he has been her go-to person. In addition, her ex-boyfriend P.K. Subban is a huge fan of the ‘Jumanji’ fame actor, and they were even spotted doing a workout together once.

In 2019, Lindsey took to her Instagram handle and posted her picture with him. She captioned it, “@therock, you’re the best! Thanks for being such a bada$$ mentor and inspiration…and mostly thank you for putting up with my boyfriend @subbanator, who is your biggest fan 🤪 #projectrock #rockfam.”

Meanwhile, apart from their friendship, the former Olympian also worked professionally with him. Their fans were thrilled when she announced that she would work with Dwayne on the Project Rock campaign.

In addition, Vonn gave Dwayne the concept for an “Under Armour” women’s collection. Dwayne also had Lindsey’s back when she split up with Subban after engagement.

The couple dated each other for three years before drifting apart. When their relationship ended, Subban stated, “Fortunately and unfortunately, I was with somebody who was also a public figure, and that’s part of the deal. But that’s a part of life. It’s great to know that hockey is here again, and I can focus on my game now, and I’m excited for that.”

Meanwhile, Lindsey showed her excitement on Christmas after their engagement through an Instagram post. In the post, she quoted how she can’t wait to get married to him.

But after their breakup, she stated, “We will always remain friends and love each other immensely. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time.”
