Maroulis had an intense training session this past week with Stevan Micic. She displayed her gratitude in the caption mentioning, “Super grateful to learn from @stevanandrijamicic and his father. It’s so cool to pick someone’s brain and hear how they adjusted their training, techniques, and strategies. Learning from the World Champion!”
Picking up the best strategical moves from Micic, she adds how she tried to master it a few years ago. However, she never believed it would be her style. But, the guidance from Micic prompted her to learn “new cues and adjustments,” and she is reveling in her new-found tactics. She adds, “Sometimes it helps to learn the same move from multiple sources because different things will stick/click for you. Each person hits it a little differently and it helps to get your own feel down for it.”
Adding a hilarious jest to her videos, she further asks the fans if they want to witness Stevan if he can learn Maroulis’ foot sweep.
