The track and field community loves watching Noah Lyles race. From the Bahamas Relays to the Paris Olympics, the Virginia native has never been short of fans cheering for him loudly. Over the years, he has built a reputation as one of the greatest track stars of all time, and a 100m Olympic gold has only bolstered that claim. But it looks like Lyles is just as eager to show off his prowess at every chance that comes his way. Naturally, fans aren’t complaining.

Noah’s collaboration with the fastest YouTube content creator MrBeast has been the talk of the town for quite some weeks now. Watching him take on YouTuber IShowSpeed was an exhilarating experience that fans went ga-ga over. But before MrBeast drops the second chapter of the ongoing project, fans seem to have a few suggestions of their own about what could be its future direction.

Ahead of the Noah Lyles vs. IShowSpeed showdown, another epic race took place in Florida. On December 2, Noah Lyles uploaded a video on YouTube, where part of the MrBeast collab has come to light. Titled “Fastest Man vs. Average Person for $100,000 (ft. MrBeast),” the video shows the 100m Olympic champion giving a random guy the opportunity to beat him in a race and win a hefty bounty in the process. But The World’s Fastest Man‘s opponent for the day, YouTuber Jonah, had a special advantage, considering his physical drawback compared to the 100m and 200m 2023 World Champion Noah Lyles.

The stipulations of the race claimed that Jonah could get a head start of 60 meters in the 200m race in exchange for reducing the prize money to $40,000. If he won, he would keep the money, while Lyles’s victory would see the cash being donated to charity. Despite the obvious disparity in their fitness, Jonah doesn’t leave any chance to trash-talk his opponent in hopes of getting under Noah’s skin.

However, as the race starts, it’s immediately evident who’s the better sprinter, and Lyles goes on to win the race without breaking much sweat. His victory once again proved just how good Lyles is at what he does, and MrBeast couldn’t help but ponder if there were a lot of people who could make the former taste defeat. But the fans had their own thoughts after watching the hilarious race.

Can Tyreek Hill really challenge Noah Lyles, or is it just wishful thinking from football fans?

Have an interesting take?

In recent months, one of the biggest annoyances that Lyles has had to face has been from the football fans. Noting repeatedly how the Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill could beat the track sensation in a head-to-head battle, fans have long wondered if the speculations could ever become a reality. With Hollywood stars like Terry Crews getting involved in the crossfire, the anticipation has only grown, without anything coming to fruition. But this time with MrBeast in the scene, fans are bracing up with hope once again. Urging the content creator to get the ball rolling about this, one fan commented, “I think Mr. Beast should set up the Tyreek Hill showdown!!!! I’d pay to watch that race.

Another fan just couldn’t stop chuckling watching Jonah trying his best to record a win over the professional and decorated sprinter. “He is below the average man,” joked one fan. “Noah vs. The Burger King,” another fan chimed in on the discussion with a hilarious note of their own about how sad Jonah’s attempts looked.

During the final stretches of the race, when Lyles floats past Jonah, the content creator is quick to give up without much resistance. That was truly the moment that displayed Noah’s dominance on the tracks, whatever the conditions may be. Considering how Lyles went on to win bronze in the men’s 200m final at the Paris Olympics despite suffering from COVID-19 symptoms, we’d say Jonah did the right thing. But fans couldn’t hold back the laughter. “He definitely needed a 100m head start to have any chance,” said one Lyles fan. Even Noah’s coach Lance Brauman and his fiancée Junelle Bromfield enjoyed laughs from the sidelines, and one fan noticed writing, “Coach and Junelle just having a laugh🤣🤣🤣🤣

For another fan, this was a testament to the peak physical form that track athletes possess. Compared to other sports, track and field is often considered a much smaller thing, and this fan believes MrBeast could help to change the scenario. “This was so good to watch, goes to show how much respect track and field athletes should get for how hard they train and how good they are,” opined the fan.
