When we talk about smooth gymnastics skills, one name that crosses our minds is Jade Carey. She is one of the successful gymnasts and has proved herself time and again. She is best known for her abilities in vault and floor exercise and is the 2020 Olympic champion in floor exercise. With this she is also a two-time World medalist and so much more. Now she is all set to compete in the USA Gymnastics in San Jose, California, against another champion, Simone Biles.

With these two, many other gymnasts are going to compete in the championships. And with this USA Gymnastics is also getting backed by the $30 billion industry Nike. Despite unusual relations between Simone Biles and Nike, USA Gymnastics shook hands with the company. The 2023 U.S. Championships will portray a lot of talent.

Nike sponsors the USA Gymnastics 2023

The 2023 USA Gymnastics will be starting from 24th August to 27th August 2023. Several top gymnasts will be competing with each other. From Jade Carey to Simone Biles, everyone?is ready to attain the title. The billion-dollar company Nike has teamed up with gymnastics and will be backing the US team this year. The iconic Nike logo is seen almost everywhere and is almost everyone’s favorite.

Five years ago, USA Gymnastics filed for bankruptcy and has now come back with a bang. The association has announced its largest partnership with Nike. This incorporates USA Gymnastics’ men’s and women’s outfits in official Nike apparel. It also has warm-up sets and leotards. The CEO of USA Championships, Li Li Leung states, “The partnership allows us to deepen our holistic support for athletes and the gymnastics community as a whole.”

Nike is a loved brand and is visible everywhere. Everyone, just not Simone Biles love and appreciate it. The company has its own relations with Biles. And amidst all of this, Jade Carey subtly lent her hand of support for this collaboration. She posted a story on her Instagram account, flaunting Nike shoes with her San Jose bag.

After Nike’s collaboration with the USA team, it has been a point to talk about everywhere. And especially with the relation Nike had with Biles was known by all. In 2021, just prior to the Tokyo Olympics, Simone Biles decided to disassociate with Nike. She has been sponsored by Nike since 2015, however, left the brand in 2021 to join Athleta, which is a division of GAP.

She also stated. “Athleta stands for everything I stand.”?After Nike was blamed for some sexist scandals and as being the biggest supporter of women’s empowerment, Biles left Nike behind. USA Gymnastics has joined hands with the team and Simone Biles is also participating in it. Jade Carey, on the other hand, has already shown her support for the collaboration with her story.
