After the men’s team, the women made gymnastics history in Belgium. The women’s team, on team finals day, notched their game up from the qualifiers. Displaying excellent maneuvers back-to-back, the US team now stands atop the scoreboard. Team USA has successfully shifted its biggest competitor Great Britain to the sixth. As Great Britain kicked off their routines, a certain star gymnast encountered some issues.

The 19-year English artistic gymnast Jessica Gadirova tottered on her Cheng routine. Moreover, with Joscelyn Roberson’s unanticipated mishap, netizens raised concerns almost immediately. In addition, some also asked for an inspection midway while the event was underway.

A viewer of the event made a statement regarding Gadirova’s Cheng landing. The user took to his ‘X’ handle to write a worrisome post, saying, “Gadirova crashes her Cheng and after the injury to Roberson earlier, it was quite scary.”

With the most common allegation, “There is something wrong with the vault”, the fans referred to Joscelyn Roberson as well. During the pre-event warmup, the 17-year-old was unable to stand up, later limping to the medic. The surprising thing is, vault is Roberson’s signature. One fan claimed that the vault may be maledicted. She said, “I feel like this vault is cursed.” On the other hand, another fan questioned the skills of the venue officials. She said, “Can someone double check the settings?” One user may have missed the exact bit, hence asked, “Is she okay?”

She said, “OH MAN this vault is out to destroy people today, WTF, it’s already taken out Roberson, Jessica Gadirova better be all right (tied for my favorite Gadirova sister).” Gymanstics Now posted a fall update of Carlos Yulo and shared his statements thereafter. It read, “As far as the scary fall in vault and the other mistakes, he said, ‘Right now I’m kind of disappointed, but I’m grateful that I’m still here standing. What happened to me today wasn’t too big of an accident. Mentally I’ve been confused. These things happen… but I’ll get back.'” As a gymnast himself, the Filipino faced a similar setback at the vault, grabbing netizens’ attention.
