The 4X Olympic gold medalist shared her thoughts in the final Incredible Women essay of 2023. She said, “It’s unfortunate that Jonathan and I were long-distance so soon after our wedding, because his season started with the Green Bay Packers.”

Nevertheless, Biles looked at the silver lining and stated, “But we are very fortunate in the bigger picture, and realizing that makes it easier to find patience when life throws you a curveball.”

Due to their career commitments, the athletic couple had to stay away from each other. So they didn’t have much time to stay under the same roof. Having said so, Simone Biles has also mentioned some memorable moments that made 2023 worth cherishing. “In the past year, I got married, watched my niece be born, have been on girls’ trips, traveled with friends and had vacations with my husband. It’s been an incredible year.”

Moreover, speaking of gymnastics, Biles’ strategies aren’t how they used to be back in 2020. She is gearing up for Paris. “Although I freak out a little at the beginning of every Olympic cycle, I’ll have to remind myself that I’m fine when the clock hits 2024.”
