Simone Biles and the US team have already set foot in Antwerp for the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Starting from the 30th, it will be an action-packed display of finesse and precision. Apart from the on-mat performance of the gymnasts, curiosity about their off-mat activities during an event is ever-present. And from someone like Biles, the world has a lot to hear about Belgium.

It did not take her long to walk down memory shortly after landing in Antwerp. However, as she opened up in an interview, it was not only gymnastics she spoke about.

Often the diet of Olympic athletes sets the internet abuzz. Especially for the gymnasts who perform such high flips and crisp bar and vault routines, a proper diet is essential. But Simone Biles never shies away from engaging in delectable food.
No diet pressure for Simone
Even though diets vary according to the sport, Simone ensures regular cheat meal inclusion. Considered the greatest gymnast in the world, the 26-year-old includes broccoli, carrots, asparagus, corn, green beans, potatoes and peas. However, she can’t survive without pasta and pizza for dinner. Besides these fuel intakes, Simone saves a decent space for s’mores cookies, her favorite dessert. In fact, she has a fantastic food philosophy. Having already faced the worst of ‘twisties’, she doesn’t want her diet to pressure her. She eats whatever she feels like, refusing to track her food.
