Getting edged out in the NFL Divisional Round by the 49ers was a loss-by-a-fraction moment for the Green Bay Packers team. Despite most games culminating in success, Simone Biles‘ husband’s team put an uncalled-for end to the current NFL season. But their lady luck never let the team spirit dim. Being away for career obligations, the 26-year-old always extended support either virtually or from the fence line. Especially when her husband Jonathan Owens walked a depressing path carved by defeat.
This whole thing of not making it to the Playoffs has a silver lining. Sporting long-distance for most days, there’s nothing better than heading home to the wife. Now, as the 28-year-old Packers’ safety is in Texas, the Olympian has a range of gifts lined up.

Amid a busy practice schedule and the Olympics breathing on her shoulders, the Olympic gold medalist awaited her husband’s homecoming. Since she has to single-handedly manage the paw babies and crave Owens simultaneously, the latter’s presence at home pacifies all. Ahead of his upcoming NFL season, JO received a warm welcome from his wife with a “look whose home… my heart” story caption. But that’s not all. The Owens’ love story is incomplete without a bouquet. A cherry on top if there are two. Opting for a pair of rodeo boots, Biles arranged the flowers in them and placed them on the tabletop.
Interestingly, the Instagram story caption says, “‘my lil texas girl”, “my cowgirl'” paired with an emotion-filled emoji. The vibrant colors were proof that their love also played out quite colorfully. But this isn’t the only time the Olympian chose rodeo style to work her charm. Since rodeo is a key sport in Texas and the Biles tribe hasn’t been ignorant about it, the Texas couple once rang in Halloween along similar lines.

Biles’ cowgirl costume left fans amazed
In 2022, the athletic couple was in their planning phase. Ahead of getting married the following year, they decided to live their best bachelor lives. Sporting a cow print ensemble, the Olympian went for detached sleeves and fringe detailing paired with a triangular bralette.

Captioning the story as “wild and wanted” teamed up with a brown heart emoji, the 26-year-old slayed in a black cowgirl hat. Amping her look up with black mid-calf boots, the 7x Olympic medalist could have easily posed a threat to a professional cowgirl. To match her girl’s Halloween statement, even JO looked like a rodeo athlete in a checkered shirt and a cowboy hat. We’re looking forward to more such fashion adventures in 2024.
