As the gymnastics arena unfurled the curtains, it was time for Simone Biles to shine again. On the second day of the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championship, the GOAT waved her victory flag once more. Her first time competing at the Worlds after a two-year hiatus, some magic was bound to happen, and it did. As Simone rocked a calm demeanor, her YDP routine landed her the fifth skill name, Biles II. Leading the scoreboard, the 26-year-old craved some family time with her niece. Ronni aka Baby Biles made her debut at the 2023 US Xfinity Gymnastics Championship to cheer on her aunt. But this time, an unpleasant news hovered around her.

As Simone competes on the World stage, a rather unsettling update concerned the Baby-verse. A day ago, Sammy Biles took to her Instagram to announce Ronni’s hospital visit, having tested C+. Since Ronni was born prematurely, her health issues require more attention than normal. However, after a day, Sammy now has a lighter update.

Since the three-member family spent their time in the hospital mostly, screen time was difficult. Balancing parental duties and social media duties didn’t seem to work for them. However, earlier today, the mother conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to all those who kept them in their prayers. She wrote in an Instagram story, “Thank you so much to those of who have taken the time to check on Ronni & our household. It’s been a rough couple of weeks with Ron travelling and working so much, and then testing C+…”

The post further asserted that Ronni’s father tested C first, passing it on to the baby later so “little miss had a really rough night”. Furthermore, Sammy may also have caught the flu while nurturing the dad and the baby. She said, “I’ve been keeping it together but today I’m coughing, headache, achy, zero energy, sore throat…” The picture featured masked-up Ron holding his baby in his arms.

Though the family is recovering now, the past few days have been quite hectic for them. Especially when Sammy posted the first update. Things looked serious then.

Baby Biles’ scary update

Sammi Biles shared an update on Instagram, as Simone Biles returned to international gymnastics in Europe. With the pressure upping gradually, the GOAT needed her littlest cheerleader on her Antwerp journey. But unfortunately, that didn’t happen. She captioned the story with “ER for her” and a white heart emoji while holding Ronni on her lap. The nine-month-old appeared pale and had eyes that were on the verge of tears in the anxious mother-daughter selfie. Sammi praised her brave child, calling her a “sweet girl,” as she explained her illnesses and wrote, “Cold, flu, and rsv season is for the birds” with an emotional emoji. While the baby is getting better, Simone is already winning hearts.
