The 2024 collegiate gymnastics season has been an exciting one for the LSU Tigers. Starting the meet strong to announcing their excellence being the first ones to break 198, the team has trodden well, three weeks into the meets. Following a series of ups and downs, the Tigers today stand to gain back the momentum and LSU fame, Olivia Dunne aligns rather well as she makes a return.
For the last meet against the Missouri Tigers and the one before that, Olivia Dunne remained off the mats for reasons unclear. However, today with LSU Tigers having incurred two losses and looking to stand back up, the 21-year-old seems to be back to live her senior year dream.

Hours ahead of the meet, Olivia Dunne took to her social media to announce her return to the mats against Arkansas Razorbacks. “Happy meet day,” she wrote as she sported the signature LSU purple leotard and neatly tied hair. Livvy then backed it up with a glimpse of her practice sessions on the floor and uneven bars; the primary events she has excelled in through her NCAA presence. For the showdown against Arkansas, who stand 6th, the SI Swimsuit model will look to take on the same as she makes a possible strategic return.
“Fresh legs are very, very important,” head coach, Jay Clark said in a video posted by Tiger TV. Clark further emphasized that the management would be looking at planning things more strategically to get the team to the top. “It’s going to get better, I promise,” he said after the meet against Missouri. Now intentions of strategy on the clear, and speculations of Olivia Dunne incurring minor injury out of the way, the 21-year-old can live her aim to get LSU Tigers on top.
