It has been a little over a year since the Biles family welcomed abundant joy to their lives in the form of Baby Biles, or Ronnie.  Though health complications followed the family next, happy little updates on the little one’s growth and a shower of love haven’t fallen short.

“I’m excited to spoil you!” Simone Biles had written before the little one’s arrival. Since then, the gymnastics star hasn’t forgone an opportunity to exude love alongside the family nor a chance to introduce her domain to Ronnie subtly. Thus, as a result of influence or otherwise, Baby Biles seems to be indulging in the sport, backed by the recent update.

Simone Biles might find a new gymnastics star in the family

Sammi Biles has offered a safe space for the IVF babies community or the ones beyond through her Instagram account dedicated to Baby Biles. From the journey of emergency hospital runs to the celebrations of little steps forward, Simone Biles’ sister-in-law has cherished the path. In the tradition of keeping up, Sammi recently shared an Instagram story update on Ronnie’s playtime. As per the post, the screen in the clip’s background had a gymnastics video playing while she carried a clutch with a band-aid around.

“Gymnastics videos on the iPad coming in clutch when I had to shower this morning,” Sammi wrote adding a little laughter. The update might present a little influence on aunt Simone Biles’ spread far but that wouldn’t be the first time. From Worlds 2023 to World Champions Centre, Baby Biles has often explored her aunt’s domain.

Baby Biles and a blooming interest

Early this month, Sammi Biles was out with her little one at the Simone Biles’ training center. The Olympian and her fellow gymnasts were celebrating the 2024 Invitational when Ronnie announced her arrival. Though her aunt wasn’t in the scene, gymnastics star Jordan Chiles, Zoe Miller, and more were photographed with Baby Biles on the training mats. However, that happened to be the most recent step for Ronnie, who had previously tried her hand at gymnastics.

As per Sammi’s updates, Ronnie went from cheering Simone Biles at home during the 2023 Worlds to trying to pull herself up the rings. “Watching TT & wanting to be like her,” Sammi had written. Simone Biles, chiming in on the interest, even seemed to add ‘gymnastics biography’ to the list of gifts for Baby Biles last year. Moreover, the interest also extends to include her other aunt Adria, who has been quite the gymnast herself. No matter the direction of interest, no dream falls too far away for baby Biles, surrounded with immense adoration and love.
