However, the one person in her girl tribe whom she keeps the closest is her sister, Adria Biles.

Growing up under the same roof as her star gymnast sister, Adria developed a passion for flying through the air. The fact that she was raised in a gymnastic household motivated her to continue elite gymnastics for 10 years. Popularly known for being more ‘fearless’ than her sister, Adria grew a penchant for softball too. Having said that, she had her eyes glued on Janae Jefferson, whom she started dating in June 2022. In a recent Instagram story, the 26-year-old Olympian shared frame with Janae Jefferson, the team member of the US women’s national softball team. Captioned it as, “so many things to celebrate this weekend. Congrats to my sisters gf on pan am GOLD. LFG!!!!!” Recently, at the 2023 Pan-American Games, the US women’s softball team walked home with their 10th Pan-Am gold. As victorious as the news is, the recent shout out by the Olympian herself grabbed more attention.

After being selected for the 2022 World Games as a member of the US softball team, the 24-year-old anchored her team to a gold. With several accolades in her name, Jefferson has won a significant place in younger Biles’ heart as well. Hyping each other with sappy posts and adorable captions, the athletic couple always keeps their social fans on toes.

The 24-year-old, who once walked in her sister’s footsteps, left gymnastics in 2016. Now she makes TV appearances, but what needs special mention is, she is also passionate about pursuing hygiene. In a post from 2020, she declared being a part of dental assisting. Though not much information has surfaced, the world recognizes her as a gymnast even now.

Though Simone Biles acknowledged, ?My sister has always been fearless,? her love for her baby sister knew no bounds. Having spent their early life in foster care, the older Biles learned to be a protective sister, almost like a mother.

The Olympian mothered her sister

Shannon Biles, their biological mother, had decided to leave the kids at a foster care for some reason. While moving away from the family, the Olympian stepped in her mother’s shoes and waited for a kind heart to rescue them. Since then, took care of Adria . Thankfully, the sisters didn’t get separated at the foster care.

The 7X Olympic medalist said,“I wanted to take care of Adria obviously because she was the baby. And I just felt like I need to look out for her because if family doesn’t look out for you, who’s going to?” Nellie Biles, who’s her biological grandmother, had adopted the sisters. She said, “She really was nurturing and mothering to Adria. They had a very close bond, and to this day, that bond is still there.”
