The 2023 Beach Pro Tour Challenge Goa proved to be a historic feat for the USA Volleyball teams. The tournament is jointly hosted by the Volleyball World and the FIVB in the beautiful city of Goa.
As one of the most dominant contenders of the tournament, the USA Volleyball team made it to round 16 without any struggle. With a rich tapestry of international talent and Olympic dreams in the balance, this event promises to redefine the boundaries of the sport, with all eyes on the pristine beaches of Goa.
USA Volleyball: Through the round of 16, to the title
Team USA was represented by some of the best in the business. With five men’s pairs and three women’s pairs, USA stands strong. For the women, Molly Turner/Abby Van Winkle and Kim Hildreth/Teegan Van Gunst were among the teams. The men’s teams included Chaim Schalk/Tri Bourne, Trevor Crabb/Theo Brunner, Miles Evans/Chase Budinger, Tim Brewster/Kyle Friend, and Evan Cory/Cody Caldwell.

The 2023 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour brings its seventh Challenge event to Goa, India, marking the first major world-level tournament hosted by the country. This historic tournament unfolds at the Zuri White Sands Resorts on Varca Beach, featuring a remarkable gathering of top-caliber beach volleyball talent. The event kicks off with qualification battles, with 22 women’s teams vying for a spot in the main draw. The bracket leaders, Liliana Fernаndez and Paula Soria of Spain await their opponents, setting the stage for fierce competition.

In the men’s qualifiers, a diverse array of teams from 25 different countries and all five continental confederations are gearing up for intense competition, with valuable Olympic qualification points and a USD 150,000 prize purse on the line.
