In just a period of 15 months, tennis prodigy Ben Shelton has made his mark. Last year, the 20-year-old secured the NCAA singles title while representing the University of Florida. Then, after leaving college and turning pro, he was ranked 802 globally, but the recent 2023 U.S. Open finally awarded him his first break. In fact, all eyes were on the unseeded Shelton who went into the semi-finals as the last American man standing while gearing up to face tennis royalty Novak Djokovic. While Shelton enjoyed his newfound success, reports also suggest that his relationship with celebrated track and field athlete Anna Hall has been over for some time now.

The relationship between the two promising athletes was very private and the timeline of their relationship is still not clear. However, a recent social media post suggests that Hall is currently dating NFL cornerback Joejuan Williams who has just been signed to the active roster of the Chicago Bears.

Heptathlete Anna Hall won a bronze medal at last year’s World Athletics Championships. She followed it up with a silver medal at this year’s world championships in Budapest. This makes Hall only the second U.S. woman to win two world championship medals as she joins the legacy of her inspiration Jackie Joyner-Kersee, who won gold in 1987 and 1993. As for her life off the track, a recent post on X by Track Spice suggests that Hall might be dating NFL cornerback Joejuan Williams.

The video showcases Hall’s post on her TikTok which includes a number of snippets of her daily routine and she has also captioned the video as,?“Last off szn trip.”?While the tweet’s caption reads,?“Track couple alert. Heptathlon star Anna Hall is dating NFL cornerback Joejuan Williams who plays for the Chicago Bears. She was previously in a relationship with tennis player Ben Shelton.”

Someone similar to Williams can be seen in a number of clips that indicate that the two athletes might be dating each other. As for her on-track performances, after failing to attain gold at the world championships, Hall is now focusing on the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Hall is currently 22 years old and still has a long way to go in her career, but she is already a rising star in the heptathlon world. During the 2021 U.S. Olympic Trials, Halls suffered a major setback as she shattered the navicular bone in her foot. The recovery took three months and she could not participate in the Tokyo Olympics.

However, she continued to work towards her goal and achieved a bronze medal last year and a silver medal at this year’s world championships. Hall also believes that she was within touching distance of an indoor world record in Gotzis, but it did not work out.

But she is now aiming for next year’s Olympics and according to a Team USA report, Hall further stated, ?I?m just going to keep giving it my best and hopefully the chips will fall in my favor soon.”?As for her life off the court, there has been no official confirmation by any athlete so far regarding their relationship status, but her recent social media posts strongly suggest a potential pairing of the two athletes.
