Skiing is assumed to be a beautiful sport. However, one can’t deny the intensity of risk that is associated with it. One of the latest unfortunate incidents happened at Whistler Blackcomb, where an 82-year-old man experienced a fatal accident. On 23 March, CBC News reported about the fatal accident of the 82-year-old man.

On Saturday at 9:30 am, the incident leading up to his death unfolded at Ridge Runner, an intermediate trail in the Crystal area, located on Blackcomb Mountain. Without much delay, the ski patrols were able to provide immediate assistance to the injured man by rushing him to the Whistler Medical Clinic. However, as soon as he reached the hospital, he was pronounced dead. The ski place owners later came forward to identify the deceased.
On Tuesday, the Vail Resorts that owned the Whistler Blackcomb ski place identified the man. Apparently, he was a guest at Whistler, a municipality in Canada. Nevertheless, Doug Pierini, Whistler Blackcomb Interim COO conveyed condolences for the near and dear ones of the Whistler man on behalf of the entire resort. She told CBC News, “Whistler Blackcomb, Whistler Blackcomb Ski Patrol, and the entire Vail Resorts family extend our deepest sympathy and support to our guest’s family and friends.” Keeping aside the unfortunate news, the concerned had little to offer as far as the how of it.

In fact, the resort revealed that the exact cause of his death was yet to be determined. However, it confirmed that nobody else was involved in it. Quite often, the consequences are fatal for most. Two teen boys lost their lives while skiing on Copper Mountains
Dylan Bazzell and Drew Fehr were on their way to Colorado from Illinois when they lost their lives at the Copper Mountains on Sunday. The accident took place at 8:45 pm. Although the boys did receive medical aid when Summit County Sheriff’s officers noticed them, they could not be saved.

The officers revealed that the boys lost their lives by getting bashed strongly on solid ice. People on social media expressed deep condolences for the family and friends of the boys.
