As Shaun White prepares to give his best at Beijing 2022, there is one person who has his back through and through. That is his girlfriend, Nina Dobrev.

Beijing Winter Olympics will be Shaun White’s 5th and last Olympic games. Therefore, the athlete is working extra hard to make sure he grabs a medal.

The Games will begin this week, and White along with Team USA has already left for China. Nina Dobrev gave him an emotional send-off, wishing him all the love and luck.

Shaun White is off to China

Shaun White qualified for his first Olympic Games back in 2006. He was just 19 years old when he proved to the world that he was there to change the game altogether.

Spanning 4 Olympics, White became the champion 3 times, missing out just one time. And now, at 35 years, White is back to add yet another Gold Medal to his tally.

In January, White qualified for his 5th Olympic Games after giving a podium finish at the LAAX Open. That’s when he revealed to the world that he was going to China.

Shaun White left for China on Sunday and his girlfriend Nina Dobrev, showered him with love and kisses as the athlete goes to his very last Olympics. White took to his Instagram stories to post a picture of them, where Dobrev could be seen kissing White.

“Heading off to China” posted White, clearly excited. The couple had a garland of flowers wrapped around their necks. White was spotted donning his Team USA jacket proudly, as he goes to represent his country one last time.

Nina Dobrev also shared photos via her Instagram stories, where she was seen proudly wearing a Team USA t-shirt, a way of showing support for her boyfriend and the country as a whole.

He additionally thanked his fans for all the love and support they have shown.

Truly, White’s fans have stuck with him even on his worst days. And White did them proud when he qualified for his 5th Olympic games. In fact, his qualification was in question till the very last moment as well.
