The sport of Ice Hockey is fun and fatal at the same time. Over the years, there have been numerous injuries in the NHL rink that resulted in jaw-dropping excitement apart from the game itself. During high-voltage matches the tension between players often becomes controversial. Talking about confrontation, it is impossible not to mention New York Rangers’ defenseman Ryan Lindgren.

He is indeed a physical player, a fact that has resulted in several injuries. A recent video depicts how a puck hit him badly enough for him to seek medical help. Lindgren headed right to the locker room with his doctor after the incident. This was a serious injury and he could not get back to play again that day. But is this the first time for Lindgren? In a seasonal game between New York Rangers and Arizona Coyotes a horrible incident took place. The spectators were on their toes when Coyotes’ Dylan Guenther mistakenly hit the puck in Lindgren’s face. It was in the second round when both of the teams were running for the win as the score was 2-2. It was a head-to-head fight and both players aimed for getting a score which caused the clash. Evidently, from the video, the defenseman urgently called for help.

This is not the first time with Lindgren. Previously, he went through numerous injuries which placed him on the bench. This 24-year-old hockey player is suffering from several injuries like upper body and lower body dysfunction and other illnesses, thus not playing. He often gets physically engaged and pushes other players like Rickard Rakell, David Pastrnak, and several others.
