Hot on the heels of their new record, the fans want the Bruins to go for the whole big deal, the Stanley Cup.
In a Facebook post shared by NHL‘s official page, several pictures show the Bruins huddled together and celebrating after the match. Fans, who have long waited for such a moment, couldn’t keep their calm.

“101 points. 61 games. NHL record”, read the caption by NHL on Facebook. Boston Bruins officially became the first-ever team to reach 101 points the fastest in NHL history. The caption also read, “Yeah, that’s definitely hug-worthy” followed by an adorable smiley. There’s no denying them any form of celebration on that night. It was a night full of events for the Bruins, as they thumped the Buffalo Sabres 7-1. They were unfortunate to lose Brad Marchand during the second half of the game but came back in an unbelievable manner to win it by that huge margin.

There’s simply no stopping the Boston Bruins this year
As they are having their dream 2022-2023 season, the Bruins are on a record-setting spree. When they traveled to Vancouver to face the Canucks in their home arena, the Rogers Arena, their goaltender stole the limelight. Linus Ullmark not only saved 26 shots for his side, but he also scored a goal himself.
