In a Facebook post shared by NHL‘s official page, several pictures show the Bruins huddled together and celebrating after the match. Fans, who have long waited for such a moment, couldn’t keep their calm.

“101 points. 61 games. NHL record”, read the caption by NHL on Facebook. Boston Bruins officially became the first-ever team to reach 101 points the fastest in NHL history. The caption also read, “Yeah, that’s definitely hug-worthy” followed by an adorable smiley. There’s no denying them any form of celebration on that night.
