It’s almost go-time, folks! The battle between the stars and stripes and the maple leaf is set to go down to the final match, and this one is going to be a cracker. The last 4 Nations Face-Off final is set for a red-hot rematch between Team USA and Canada, and if their previous encounter was anything to go by, then prepare for the best. Their first clash in Montréal? Absolute chaos. Three fights in the first nine seconds, an aggressive Canadian audience, and a 3-1 victory for Team USA.

However, the situation is much more serious now that the championship is in question. But wait—here’s where it gets even spicier. While Brad Marchand is ready to suit up for Canada, one of his Boston Bruins teammates, Charlie McAvoy, might suit up for the USA if he comes out of injury. But before that, their Bruins’ teammate is keeping it all the way real about this high-stakes 4 Nations showdown.

In a video shared by the Boston Bruins on X, a journalist tossed a question at David Pastrnak, trying to stir the pot a little for 4 Nations. “Any interest between USA and Canada in terms of between Brad or any of those guys?” But he was cool as ice with his response. “Honestly, not really,” he shrugged, totally unbothered. Sure, he admitted it’s great for hockey to see these two powerhouse nations battling it out in the finals, and yeah, Team USA took the first game, but at the end of the day? He’s just here for the vibes.

“As a Hockey fan, I enjoyed those couple of games to watch and I will watch Thursday, but I really don’t care who will win.” No stress, no rivalry, just a guy who loves the sport and isn’t losing sleep over the outcome. Classic Pastrnak—keeping it chill while the hockey world is on fire. The stage is set, the stakes are sky-high, and the hockey world is buzzing! Team USA and Canada both punched their tickets to the 4 Nations final with matching 2-1 records, leaving Finland and Sweden in the dust.

They are now set to fight for the first best-on-best international title since the year 2016. History? Well, Canada has it and they have won the last three and nine out of 13 overall. The U.S.? They have had only one moment of triumph and this was in the World Cup of Hockey in the year 1996. But hey, this simply means that they’re hungry for another taste of victory!

So, mark your calendars—Thursday, Feb. 20, is when all the questions get answered. But before that, let’s talk about David Pastrnak, who may have played it cool, but guess what? He definitely threw a little fuel on the fire with his take!

Boston Bruins’ star takes sides for 4 Nations!

Although, the 4 Nations Face-Off will be held without David Pastrnak on the ice, it will not stop the Boston Bruins star from enjoying the game! The Czech forward was in the front row at the TD Garden on Monday night, watching Team USA’s last match against Sweden. And of course, he would love to be out there fighting with the intensity of the best, but for now, he is just vibing with the tension. “It’s high intensity, you’re getting the best players in the world facing off against each other,” Pastrnak said to Sportsnet’s Kyle Bukauskas during a mid-game interview. “It’s fun to watch for sure, even for me as a hockey fan.”

With the Winter Olympics just around the corner in 2026, he knows this is just the beginning of some serious international hockey drama! However, as for the Thursday’s 4 Nations championship game between USA and Canada, Pastrnak won’t take sides—but he is hoping for a nail-biter. “Honestly, I wish Czech Republic was there, but at the same time I’m enjoying it as a hockey fan and don’t really have a winner in my head,” he said.
