The streets of America and the northern neighbor, Canada, were quiet for some time. And no wonder about it as the most awaited NHL game was on the board- Team USA vs Team Canada. The excitement was so out of the level that those who hadn’t even seen a single hockey game were talking about the game as JJ Watt tweeted in one of his tweets. The game ended with Canada crushing the USA in a 3-2 overtime. And the internet has exploded with reactions!
One of the most highlighting NHL reactions was from the NFL world, which was by the FOX Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews. She posted a story on Instagram saying, “Good for the @NHL! That was so much fun and such a success!” Andrews also represented every hockey fan, adding, “We were screaming like it was the Stanley Cup and Go USA.” Her reaction came days after she gave hints about joining the NHL.
Along with her NFL legend, JJ Watt also posted a crazy congratulatory post on X. The former Texans star said, “Not sure how they expect these guys to go play regular season NHL games on Saturday after this. Much, much respect for how much effort, energy, and passion they’ve poured into this tournament. That’s what’s made it so special. The best in the world going all-out for pure pride.” The Canada vs USA rematch was so hyped and potentially most-watched that everyone wanted to be a part of it. And so Erin Andrews’ excitement was no exception, too.
