Earlier this year, Paulina Gretzky married golfer Dustin Johnson after a 9-year engagement. Paulina however, has been reluctant to become a sportsperson, even with all the athletes she lives around.

In her interview with Golf Digest, Paulina admitted, “I didn’t appreciate golf as much when I was little…”. The ice-hockey player’s daughter even added, “I walked all 18 holes in my dad’s tournament. Felt like the longest day of my life, but I stuck through it.” Evidently, Paulina has a different plan for her life.

Despite being the daughter of “The Great One” she lacked interest in sports. From her childhood, she wanted to achieve success in being a singer, a model, and an established actor. After singing for the crowd and recording “Collecting Dust”, Paulina worked as a model for Playboy. As an actor, the NHL star kid appeared in some music videos and played cameos in movies. However, this “sex symbol” married the handsome golf maestro Dustin Johnson and gave birth to two baby boys eventually. Not going along with her legendary dad’s path, Pauline emerged to be a self-proclaimed star.

According to Mr. Gretzky, “Paulina was a great hockey player…’til she quit”. In addition to this, talking about his wife’s game, Dustin said, “She hits it pretty solid”. The fact that sporting is in her genes, maybe a contributing factor to it. Eventually, she was also featured on the cover of Golf Digest.

Since her golf video, there were rumors about her starting life in a new way. But it seems Paulina loves to cheer for her husband playing golf and not be the one playing with him.
