Dave Portnoy’s series of unfortunate events isn’t letting him off the hook. You’d think someone would tread carefully after multiple misplaced wagers in recent weeks. But El Presidente isn’t your average Joe and is always on the lookout for some extra kick to the system. While he has been clamoring about his financial losses, he didn’t stop betting. And unexpectedly, took another major hit, prompting him to take to social media to vent his frustration yet again.

In yesterday’s match between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Minnesota Vikings, Portnoy put all his eggs in one basket by betting on the Vikings. After the Bengals’ 27-24 win, Portnoy had to do something to react to the Vikings’ debatable man-positioning in the game. In his social media post, Portnoy had a word or two to say about the team’s strategies.

Dave Portnoy has his reservations about the Vikings’ methods

In particular, Dave Portnoy wasn’t happy about the person the Vikings put their trust in to keep their opponents at bay by using the “tush push” tactic. The Philadelphia Eagles recently introduced the new go-to fourth-and-inches play and others are following suit. However, the Vikings’s No. 4 didn’t seem like the proper choice for Portnoy. He questioned in his Instagram story, “Yes I bet on the Vikings. What in the hell was this?”

How dumb!“, exclaimed an irate El Presidente. The Vikings’ tush-push play seemed to pivot around their key No. 4, who is 5’1 and weighs about 102 pounds. “…he’s the tush push guy?” Portnoy couldn’t hold back on his flummoxed mindset.

The Vikings’ tush-push guy is a little person“, Portnoy had to elaborate for those who failed to identify the issue. Portnoy also said the Vikings should’ve gone for a bigger linesman who can tackle and not center their play around some guy who is likely to get blown over by a “strong gust of wind“. This loss is a fresh addition to Portnoy’s recent misplaced wagers.

Portnoy stumbling over and over again

Portnoy’s bad luck is being dragged on without any signs of turning a new leaf. After Tom Brady departed from the New England Patriots, the Barstool Sports owner put his trust in the Cincinnati Bengals. But the Bengals did not do justice to Portnoy’s faith, and he ended up losing a massive amount of money after the Baltimore Ravens thrashed Cincinnati.

However, Portnoy didn’t take a break from gambling. He immediately fell upon the Duke Blue Devils, only to be handed more losses by the Arkansas Razorbacks. With his latest decision proving to be another slump, we wait to see what lessons El Presidente walks away with this time.
