Team USA is enjoying a great medal hunt at the 2023 World Athletics Championship in Budapest. The American track and field team, especially, is enjoying great success. Noah Lyles is one of the charge leaders for the American side and he is already running in top form. The 26-year-old added another World Championship medal to his tally as he won the gold medal in men’s 100 meters. The seventh day of the championship will test Lyles in the 200-meter category. The proud American sprinter recently shattered Usain Bolt’s record for most 200-meter finishes under 20 seconds. While Lyles is breaking records, another US hurdler is breaking through defense lines.

Devon Allen is a 28-year-old hurdler and is currently playing for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL. Devon handles the wide receiver position for the Eagles and is one of their fastest men. A video clip from one of his recent matches has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter). The footage shows Allen pinching his way through blockers and running with a speed similar to Noah Lyles. He left behind all his pursuers, however, he was later caught by a defender with a head start on him. While the opposing team eventually caught Allen, the same luck may not favor the rivals of Noah Lyles.
