When Stephen A. Smith feels strongly about any subject, the whole world knows it, too. That’s because Stephen A. Smith lets the world know with his sense of wit. He does not believe in holding back a diatribe. True to form, he had some choice words for the object of his rage on his eponymous show. This time, it was a woman who drew his ire.
According to the Daily Mail, the woman in question, Alicia, could not see eye to eye with her date, Jay. She refused to dine at The Cheesecake Factory, citing her embarrassment to be seen at that location. The matter did not end there. They will give their first date a second chance if they can agree on their values. Assuming things work out for them, Stephen A. Smith predicted some long-term difficulties.

Primary among them, Stephen A. Smith posited this woman would be gone at the first sign of trouble. Smith admitted he knew most women were supportive and prone to knuckling down in the face of adversity. He added he learned that from the women in his life. Smith said, “I’m telling you most of y’all are. That’s the beauty of y’all as women, see, Stevie A. know this. ‘Cause I was raised by five women, I know who y’all are, I know what your potential is.”
Stephen A. Smith, on an earlier episode of his show, called his mother, Janet, the best person he knew. He empathized with Dak Prescott because of the feeling of loss they shared. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback is, otherwise, perennially in Smith’s crosshairs. Smith opined the woman in this case was of an entirely different breed compared to the ones he knew well.
He said, “I also know some trifling selfish a** person when I see one.” Smith had some words that addressed all womenfolk. He referred to them as “constant embellishers.”

Stephen A. Smith hypothesized women cannot be still. If anything is old, whatever the working order, he suggested they will look for anything upon which to improve. Smith added that’s how women are by nature and said, “… that’s okay! So long as you admit it. And if you’re willing to admit that, and you’re normal, imagine what this girl is gonna do to any man that chooses her. She talking about what she deserve without even knowing them.”
Smith added the woman in this case might not be there if her man went broke, lost his job, or underwent any other calamity. He asked, “Is she gonna be the one that’s there for you? Is she gonna look at your potential and go like this, ‘This is just a setback for the comeback?’ Is she gonna be that?” Smith decried the woman seeking royal treatment from men. Incidentally, The Cheesecake Factory was the backup option. Just because she took an hour to get ready, an earlier reservation was lost.

Overall, Stephen A. Smith was almost struck dumb by the sense of entitlement carried around by this woman. ‘Almost’ is the operative word. If he momentarily lost it, Smith recovered his voice quickly enough to let this woman have it. It remains to be seen if any of this form of advice reached its intended destination.
