Eight-time Olympic gold medalist, Usain Bolt is, for many, the greatest sprinter of all time. He retired in 2017, putting an end to a decorated and accomplished Olympic career. Despite retiring, Bolt is regarded by most as the fastest man on earth, even today.

Not according to Tyreek Hill though. Believing to be clearly better than Usain, the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver had challenged Bolt to a sprint race earlier this month.

During the NHL All-Star game, Hill was having fun in his interview, where he also challenged the retired Jamaican sprinter to race him.

Now, however, it seems that the tides have turned, with Bolt being the one who’s having fun and that too, at Hill’s expense.

Usain Bolt mocks Tyreek Hill about sprint face-off

At the NFL Pro Bowl Skills Showdown, Tyreek Hill was one of the four competitors who sprinted the 40-yard dash. Hill dashed against Dallas Cowboys linebacker, Micah Parsons, Cleveland Browns running back, Nick Chubb, and Cowboys cornerback, Trevon Diggs.

Surprisingly, for all his talk about being capable of going toe-to-toe with Bolt himself, Tyreek was the slowest in the dash. The contest saw Micha Parsons beating everybody else to the finish line.

Even though many have stated that Hill was barely taking the contest seriously, Usain Bolt took the opportunity to mock him for his result. He highlighted a screencap of the race where Hill was last behind everybody, writing, “you mean this guy?”

Now, Usain Bolt has spoken again about a potential race between him and Tyreek Hill. Speaking to TMZ Sports about the race, Usain Bolt laughed at Tyreek Hill’s effort (or lack thereof) in the Pro Bowl race.

After what he saw at the contest, Bolt no longer wants to race Hill. “He’s not ready though,” Bolt stated when asked if he would race Tyreek. “He got beaten by some linebackers. He ain’t ready for this,” the 35-five-year-old said.

Bolt isn’t worried about NFL players

Furthermore, when asked how confident he was about the potential face-off with Hill, Bolt had nothing but ounces of confidence. “I’m the fastest man in the world, what do you mean?” he said, shrugging.

Bolt then addressed another question about Tyreek Hill not being the only NFL player that wants to race him. “When they’re serious, tell them (to) call me,” Bolt said confidently.

Clearly, the fastest Olympian in the world is not bothered about a race with Hill or any other player. After all, he still holds the fastest 100-meter sprint record in the world, 13 years after setting it.
