Despite her repeated pleas to stop, the negativity persisted. Even during her recent victory at the Core Hydration Classic 2024, where Owens was present to cheer her on. 

Biles, who made a triumphant seasonal comeback at the event, was fed up with the unwarranted criticism aimed at her husband. In a firm message to her followers, she wrote, “If you keep commenting or tweeting at me, I’m just going to block you. Simple as that,” as her final warning. However, Simone Biles’ plea may have worked positively. On the latest note, several of her fans have recently thwarted a similar attack on Jonathan Owens.  

This final warning seems to have resonated with many, as a recent attack on Owens was met with a strong defence from Biles’ supporters. After Simone’s repeated plea, things seemed to work on the couple’s side as several fans defended them recently when someone called the gymnast “the submissive provider they all dream about” while belittling Jonathan Owens.

In his/her further tweet, the X-handle, Anthrophile, quoted, “An uber-successful woman, who shrinks herself and thinks her nothing male is the prize? A dream girl for sure.” However, such a tweet with contrasting meanings did not go well with the fans as the issue of criticizing Jonathan Owens persisted. Furthermore, the deliberate fervor in the tweet went against the request once Simone Biles submitted it publicly. In her statements, the 7-time Olympic medalist added, “Talk about me all you want, but don’t come for my family. Never.” Another part that came into question in the tweet was Jonathan Owens’ success meter. 

As per the available data, JO’s career earnings have touched approximately $3,246,072. Additionally, his signing with the Chicago Bears will put $4,750,000 into his purse in two years. Therefore, Lowkey E’s tweet, quoting “Lmao wtf are you even talking about?? Her man just signed a 2 year 4.7M contract. How is she providing for him?? Y’all just be on here talking to talk..” acted as a suitable rebuttal. Meanwhile, someone defended Simone Biles’ stand for Jonathan Owens. 

Another user Jason put forward, “Yall miserable. It’s all  ‘feminism is about freedom of choice’  till a woman’s choice doesn’t align with yours . Why are so called ‘feminists’ dragging a fellow woman for asking people to respect her husband?” Eventually, it was the admittance of Simone Biles’ acts defending Jonathan Owens for all this duration.
