Days After Long-Distance Dates and Sleepless Nights Simone Biles Crafts a 3-Word-Message to Husband Jonathan Owens

Simone Biles created a buzz with her comeback which came along with separation blues with her husband. The gymnastics and NFL stars met each other in 2020 and married this year in May, after being engaged for a year. Everything came together on May 12 when Jonathan Owens signed a new contract with the Green Bay Packers making him shift to Wisconsin. Similar to their love story, their careers also advanced this year which introduced them to a long-distance relationship.

With Biles’s return to gymnastics, the two are keeping their spark alive connecting over Facetime followed by some sleepless nights. Recently, the gymnast shared an adorable note after looking at one of Owens’s pictures from practice.

Simone Biles shares a special message for husband

Since Owens left Texas to join the Packers for the start of the new season, he now lives in Wisconsin continuing his practice. The Packers’ defensive line is currently getting ready to win this year’s Vince Lombardi trophy some pictures of which were posted by the team from Ray Nitschke Field. In the slideshow was safety passer Owens’s picture which Biles posted on her Instagram story captioned, “what a hottie” with tears eyes, and hand heart emojis.

Owens was focused on the field when the camera clicked on the man in action. He was wearing grey and green Packers attire along with the safety helmet and hands ready for the catch. The sportsman appears well-adjusted at this point in his career, ready to play the defensive position as the NFL season approaches. Just some thousand miles away, is Biles who is preparing for US Classics. Just around the time of her spectacular beam return, she expressed her feelings about not being with her husband in person.

Biles continues to be unsure of how she will fit in time to support Owens given her rigorous practice schedule. With her nearly perfect score of 57.650 on the Nationals Team Camp she is now lined up with national events following the Games next year. Her jam-packed schedule now collides with that of Owens as the NFL season begins in September. Sneaking in and managing their times until now the two adorably committed athletes shared some moments despite the long distance.

Here’s how the Owens stay close despite the distance

The couple ditched the custom of picking one location and instead chose a virtual setting. Biles even shared a screenshot of her FaceTime dates on her Instagram. Knowing it was all momentary she captioned their picture, “facetime dates will do for now.”?

The Owens have their training going on in full swing now, while they plan their schedules to stay close to one another. Now after having changed two football teams, the NFL star is yet to prove his mettle this year while Biles is aiming for her Classics return on August 5.
